Chelsea Okla. Aug 19-1936 Mr. Amon G. Carter Ft. Worth - Tex. My Dear Mr. Carter: - Your kind letter just came and I can not imagine a more desirable visit than one to the Centennial at Ft. Worth. However, Mr. McSpadden's condition will not warrant me having him just now. I'm hoping with cooler weather that Mr. McSpadden may improve sufficiently that I can go down if only for a day or so. Not knowing of the special Will Rogers Day, my daughter Mrs. W. W. Milam and her family left Tuesday morning for Ft. Worth, thank you so much for offering to make my reservation. With all good wishes for your success and that of the Centennial, I am Sincerely Sallie C. McSpadden
