Maplewood Chelsea, Oklahoma August 31, 1936 My dear Mr. Carter: - I want to thank you for the courtesies extended to me on my recent visit to the Texas Centennial. I came home most enthusiastic over it and want to express my appreciation to you for your help in making my stay such a pleasant one. You and the city of Fort Worth are to be congratulated on the unique and interesting Frontier Celebration. Mother regrets so much that she was unable to attend but I've tried to tell her about the wonderful day set aside to honor Uncle Will. She asks to be remembered to you. Again thanking you and wishing for you all continued success during the Centennial. Very Sincerely, Helen McSpadden Eaton
