Glendale, Calif Sept. 16, 1940 Dear Mr Amon Carter; Strange how time will make the smallest trinket invaluable, or perhaps the least word become enduring to one, and (?) way be an expression upon the face which is (?) upon another's mind. She was so blessed to join him last spring This letter was intended to wish you every success and a happy party at the premiere for Sam Goldwyns picture - Had very nice letter from Senator Tom Connally today - Please remember me to him, when you see him in D.C. I expect to spend six weeks in Wash. D.C. this winter again visiting friends. So happy to see you again. Don't "forget hat" - Juliette Sherman Our city - P. O. Box 783 Glendale, Cali (over) When do plan to visit California again? soon I hope. an that you will have time to call us. Charleston 6.3058 - (?) B. McCarty wishes to be remembered.
