Oologah Okla Nov 1 47 Mr Amon Carter Dear Sir Sorry we can't be there to see Texas get Will Rogers horse back. You know we were all raised in a community of old (?) men who thought if a man or a horse or a cow didn't come from Texas they just naturally couldn't amount to much. Just don't stress the horse too much, Since the advent of Buckskin Joe and Peppy's Pepper, its getting so the horse has more pedigree than the cowboy Thanks again to you for not leaving a good cowboy (?) Sincerely yours Herb McSpadden
