dc.description.transcriptionNov. 5, 1947, My dear friends: Before getting away for appointments elsewhere, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the kindness and hospitality extended to Hazel and me on this delightful visit home. Also I want to add with emphasis our hearty congratutlations upon the marvelous manner in which you arranged and carried out a matchless program of the performance at the luncheon, the unveiling ceremonies, and the fine dinner.
