Mrs Katrine Deakins Star-Telegram Fort Worth, Texas Dear Katrine, Thank you for Mr Carter's check covering the second payment on the duplicate Rogers: I have endorsed it to Mr. Quattrocchi's order and I know he will be glad to releive it. The statue is more than half ready, all the pieces together and it looks grand. Mr. Carter asked me to have the work held on the (?) so we will await his instructions on it. I have arranged to have it out in by hand, so this will mean a much deeper and more readable dedication. It is good to be home although I have not stopped running yet. I do hope to get to a bit of relaxing and enjoying the company of my friends. Have a grand holiday yourself and my very best wishes for you and your husband in the coming year. Sincerely Louise Raymond
