B. H. S. Library Feb. 20, 1950 Dear Mr. Amon, Just a note to express my appreciation as an ex-graduate of Texas Technological College, Lubbock, for the lovely gift to our campus of one of our finest American Citizens the late Will Rogers. I was one of his admirers, I have felt the need of such a fine person as he was, I felt just knowing Will Rogers was one of my choicest memories. We, Bowie citizens greatly appreciate your splendid achievements - we are especially proud of "The Star Telegram," which according to our opinions is the best paper in Texas. My every good wish is for the continued success and happiness of you and yours, Very sincerely, Mrs. Will S. Young
