dc.description.transcription14253 Sunset Blvd. Pacific Palisades, Calif. 1-17-51 To Mr. Amon G. Carter, Fort Worth Star Telegram, Fort Worth, Texas. Dear Mr. Carter: - The very excellent bronze head of Will Rogers arrived yesterday. We are so glad to have it. The forms which you previously executed have been forwarded to the proper authorities and a more formal acceptance will be made later. Personally, I thank you very much and I want you to know that it is a most appropriate addition to the room and a fine tribute to the memory of Will Rogers. I am taking a years lease of absence effective, March 1, 1951 and shall be leaving here on, or about, Feb. 11, 1951 so I may not be here for whatever formal ceremonies they plan. However, I feel sure my successor will complete whatever plans are contemplated. Sincerely, (Miss) E. Louise Zoller
