dc.description.transcriptionMay 12 1952 Mr. Amon G. Carter Fort Worth, Tex. Dear Mr Carter In reguard to your letter of 5/7, 52 Mr. R. C. Plants who is a friend of mine had written you concerning a picture of the late Will Rogers which is made of leather He did this without me knowing about it I would like very much to bring this picture down to your office some time I had not planned to show this picture until I take a vacation this summer maby then I will have some time to do something.I have spent most of my spare time on this picture for the last year just for a hobby. It turned out pretty nice so now I would like to kinda show it arround some where this summer Inclosed is a picture the local studio made for me which will give you some idea of what it looks like they are not experienced in takeing pictures of leather work and got to much reflection on it This picture is 6ft. and 11" high and 3 ft 1/4 " wide thanks very much for writting Mr. Plants He gave the letter to me and requested me to write you Yours Very Truly W.
