dc.description.transcriptionPresident Franklin D Roosevelt Merry Xmas- on this grand and glorious day which finds the citizenship of this great country happier and decidedly more prosperous than they have been since 1929 and to (?) the Major Credit stop regardless of polls- North - South Barber and Poll Tax the latter will tell the real story and 2 in 1936 just as they did in 1932 - stop. of course some falls are (?) and (?) to pouring water on the Parade. That is human nature in fact they are like our relatives never satisfied they always expect more but do nothing themselves to help (?) (?) 3 stop. I hope the Shady Oak farm smoked turkeys and Top Crop pecans arrived and (?) and all of your family have a (?) Xmas and happy new year. Stop - dont worry about Texas Business is good the people are happy. The banks are sound and we all extend our blessing to you and yours Sincerely Amon G Carter
