dc.description.transcription | Dear Mr. Carter: - Please accept my great appreciation for a marvelous time. Your wonderful hospitality was the high spot of our tour. You certainly have a grand boy, or "young Southern gentleman" whom Margaret said she is looking forward to seeing again. I think you are the worlds best toastmaster and arranger some of your friends told us then even the weather performed for you. A perfect day. "Many thanks" is stating it mildly. Most sincerely Margaret A. Strickler November 14, 1947 Mrs. T. J. P.S. Please take time to read this article from May Peterson, who sang with Caruso fourteen years at the Metropolitian Opera. Mrs. T.
