Chester 18.8.95 Dear Sir By all means call when you are in Chester bearing in mind that I am not at all a sure find, as my circuit generally takes about 4 days a week. An American parson & his wife were the visitors before whom you beat a retreat yesterday. You wd. [sic] have found him an interesting witness as to the religious condition of Mass & the wild west -- Even yours Ths. Hughes [flourish]
