The Deep End is a novella detailing two years in the life of a college student struggling to recover from trauma. The novella explores themes and questions of sexual assault, victim blaming, sorority and fraternity culture, family, body image, friendship, and truth. While The Deep End provides an uncensored view of the loss and sorrow that can follow trauma, it also provides hopeful glimpses of the humanity and help the narrator finds in both expected and unexpected places on her journey of reclaiming her body and identity.
