Experimental bremsstrahlung cross sections differential in photon angle and photon energy have been obtained for incident electron energies of 50, 100, and 140 keV. Measurements have been made for thin targets of carbon, aluminum, copper, silver, and gold and for angles of 30, 45, 60, 90, and 135 degrees. Results were found to be in excellent agreement with previous experiments of Motz and Placious and Rester, et al., and with the theoretical calculations of Elwert and Haug and others for targets of aluminum and gold for 50 keV incident electrons. No other comparisons were possible. The work also investigates how bremsstrahlung cross sections depend on angle, energy, and atomic number.
