dc.description.abstract	Ice Balloon is a thesis exhibition that, through various sculptural works, drawings and video, explores themes of impotency, failure, misunderstanding and the sometimes-fertile products of dashed hope and defeat, such as beauty. As a touchstone, the exhibition uses the story of S. A. Andree's attempt to reach the North Pole in a hot air balloon.	en_US
