Handwritten letter from Van Long to Oscar Monnig thanking him for his letter of the 5th. He states that he has seen Mr. DeShazo's stone, and that he would be willing to try to work out a deal with Monnig for the sale of the stone. He states that he never actually responded to the letter of the National Museum because Monnig had told him that they would be disinclined to spend much money on his stone.
