Letter from Frederick C. Leonard to Oscar Monnig stating that he had recently read the letter that Monnig had written to John A. Russell of the University of Southern California, and is largely in agreement with Monnig's feelings about the negative direction that the field of Astronomy is headed in (more concerned with "space bunk" like interstellar travel than meteoritics). He also mentions that he would be very interested if possible in buying a piece or two of the Amber Stone with some of his remaining limited grant funds for the year, and requests that Monnig quote him prices for any pieces he is willing to sell.
