dc.description | Letter from Frederick C. Leonard to Oscar Monnig stating that he had uncovered a letter of his from August 1, 1959 in which he had listed out the pieces of the Amber stone he had, and their weights. He says that the University of California would probably be interested in the largest piece, and requests a price making it clear that he would like it as soon as possible as the fiscal year is closing and he is under pressure to make any final expenditures for it relatively soon. Also states his excitement for Monnig's talk that year at the Meteoritics Society meeting to be held at the University of Southern California. | |
