Letter from Oscar Monnig to Frederick Leonard acknowledging receipt of the check for the Amber Stone piece he had sent to him, as well as Leonard's letters of the 4th and 21st of April. States a desire to hold onto the two remaining pieces of the stone he has, as he would like to possibly trade one with Henderson at the United States National Museum for some specimens he has had his eye on, and that he would like to see about possibly giving a portion to the University of Oklahoma in recognition of the work they did to initially identify the stone. He says that while he cannot be exact in the fully weight of the initial stone, he would estimate it was north of 9lbs given the weight of the pieces he acquired.
