Letter from Frederick Leonard stating that having received Monnig's response regarding the slices, and understanding his desires, he will not pressure him, but that if at a future date he was looking to sell, the University of California would be interested in buying provided that they had the money. Asks that if Monnig writes to Van Long he make it clear that the University is most pleased with their acquisition of the stone. Finally repeats his hopes of seeing Monnig at the Meteoritical Society meeting at the University of Southern California.
