Letter to Walter Houston from Oscar Monnig letting him know that Elvin Phipps has finally replied to his letters and seems willing to sell on the Belle Plaine meteorite specimen he has. Also asks if Houston has ever visited the area as he has stories of a possible 1900 fall in Hiawatha but some of the details seem incorrect. Finally mentions that Roach and Elston of the US. Geological Survey had come to collect samples from two suspected astroblemes, but have been unable to analyze them yet due to technical issues.
