Gartman (of Port Arthur) to Oscar Monnig stating that while she was in Dallas visiting her son in November she happened to see an article in the Dallas Times Herald about Monnig's seeking information on the September meteorite fall. She then goes on to share a detailed account of what she and her husband observed while they were fleeing from Hurricane Carla.
