Letter from Oscar Monnig to Edward P. Henderson (of the Smithsonian Institution) thanking him for the enlargements of the photos he had taken of the cut Tishomingo specimen. Details how he now is in possession of the two larger Tishomingo specimens-having bribed the owner of the land they were found on (John Whiteley) to get him out of the picture-but that he has so far not managed to finalize the deal with the Orrs. Promises to keep Henderson in the loop as to how that process proceeds.
