Letter from Oscar Monnig to Hal Stamps (of Tishomingo, Oklahoma) thanking him for speaking to Pete Littlepage (the Principal of Tishomingo High School) and asking him to set up a tentative date for him, though Monnig makes it clear that if the weather is poor he would prefer to be able to cancel. Also discusses his intention to let the Tishomingo meteorite negotiations rest for the time being as that seems to be the desire of both the Orrs and Whiteley, but expresses concern that a larger organization might swoop in and pressure them to sell to them. Asks that Stamps advocate for his right to primacy in that situation should it arise.
