Letter from Oscar Monnig to John Whiteley (on whose property the Tishomingo meteorite was found) discussing the earthly origins of the black rock that he found, and how it was similar to a rock that Glen Orr (the finder of the Tishomingo meteorite) found, and has little really value. Also once again mentions his interest in acquiring the specimens of the Tishomingo meteorite, and asks that Whiteley not be fast talked out of his.
