Letter from Edward P. Henderson (of the Smithsonian Institution) to Oscar Monnig mentioning that he was out of town which is why he was so delayed in responding to the two most recent letters from Monnig, but that he is glad that Monnig is much calmed by the return of his missing Tishomingo specimens. Mentions that while he was on vacation he ended up a part of a conversation about Monnig's store and whether it had been sold to an Eastern chain. Finishes with another plea to Monnig to sell or donate some of his Tishomingo specimens to the Smithsonian so that both of their collections can be enriched by the presence of such an unique meteorite.
