Letter from Oscar Monnig to Glen Harris Orr (the finder of the Tishomingo meteorite) saying how nice it was to see the Orr family recently, and restating his offer of a total payment of $2,500 for all the Tishomingo meteorites, excepting the portions that would go back to Orr, non-inclusive of the $600 he paid to Whiteley. Expresses that he would like to settle this matter once and for all. Also requests Orr's permission to allow the Smithsonian to cut a little more off of the smaller specimen in their possession.
