dc.description.transcription | 1939, Mar. 22. Mr. Laney Miller, Deport, Tex. Dear Mr. Miller: Thank you for sending the small iron meteorite to us. I was out of town, in Washington on some business, from Mar. 11 until yesterday; otherwise I would have answered you sooner. At the present rate we are paying for these, this piece will bring $1.95, for which I enclose my check. If you or friends find others, I would appreciate hearing from you and having you send them in. Generally I am here and will send the money back in one to two days. Yours sincerely, [1 bo] | |
