dc.description.transcription | TEXAS OBSERVERS AMATEUR ASTRONOMY 312 West Leuda Street FORT WORTH, TEXAS 1938, July 6. Mr. L. H. Collier, Hobart, Okla. Dear Mr. Collier: I understand you have an iron meteorite, and as you will see from the enclosed circular, we are interested in collecting these objects. [sold to EW Sellards U of T Bureau of Economic Geology for 2.50] If my information is right, I believe we could get together on a purchase of the meteorite you have, and I would like to hear from you. One member of our group, Mr. Robert Brown, is in Chickasha just at present, and if I can get a reply from you promptly, perhaps he could come over to talk to you before he returns to Ft. Worth. Thanking you for your co-operation, I am Yours sincerely, Oscar E Monnig. [rtnd unclaimed from Hobart & Cordell Okla 7-22-38 forward to Dolly Collier fortune teller Box 462 Frederick Okla 1938 8/3] |
