dc.description.transcription | 1978 6/19 Dear Mr. Conklin, At age 75 I am gradually giving my collection of meteorites to a local university and taking credit for gifts on my income tax. I just can't hope to take them with me! Get the best price you can for me and I'm reasonable sure I'll take this piece of Costillo Peak. Structurally it is not rare as the medium octchondrite clas is the p? one among the irons. Try to get it for some price up to $700.00. If the owner is as reluctant as you say, maybe it would be good trading to start at #500 or $600 and come up! Oscar Monnig (Gave phone number in case he wants to call) | |
