dc.description.transcription | 904 Booker St Brownwood, Texas. July 3, 1937. Mr. Oscar Monnig. Fort Worth, Texas. Dear Mr. Monnig:- I notice from an announcement in Star Telegram that you lectured in your city on "Stars that Shoot." I write this to ask if parts of meteorites have any money value. I know where there is a piece of metal, about 30# weight which is said to be a piece of meteorite. It was plowed up on road near Glen Rose. If this has any value, you likely can tell me about how much it is worth. I am in position to tell you where it can be seen. This metal is just a slab of metal that looks like iron and those who have seen it call it a meteor. I would be glad to hear from you if you can spare time to write me. Yours very truly, Rev. R. L.
