Description	Letter from Edward P. Henderson (of the Smithsonian Institution) to Oscar Monnig apologizing for his having accessioned the small sample of the Tishomingo meteorite under the belief that Monnig would soon be in possession of one or both of the main masses and thus more than happy to part with a small sample. States that the meteorite is crucial to the exhibit that it is a part of and asks that Monnig be willing to loan it to the museum for that purpose. Also states his belief that the meteorite represents a major find in general and the importance of Monnig acquiring the main masses for himself, possibly with the help of the Smithsonian, so as to protect it.
