| Description | Letter from Oscar Monnig to Glen Harris Orr (finder of the Tishomingo meteorite) expressing that he was glad to have seen Orr's parents the day previous, and that they had mentioned Orr's desire to put a piece of the smaller Tishomingo specimen on display in Tishomingo the following summer. Asks for clarification as to which smaller specimen of Tishomingo they are referring, as well as promising to get into contact with the Smithsonian if needed to get them to return anything that they still have borrowed out from Monnig. |
