Abstract | Students in higher education face a multitude of challenges when gaining and refining their knowledge. They are assigned educational activities to complete on their own, and they learn new information in preparation for class assessments. To succeed, students must effectively take charge of their learning to meet achievement goals and maintain knowledge over time. This often occurs outside of classes and with minimal supervision. Thus, it is critical that students make effective self-regulated study choices. |
