Abstract | This is a historical fiction project based on research from TCU's Special Collections that seeks to shed light on common themes, attitudes, and unique experiences of TCU's students of color from earlier decades (1970s-1990s), including (but not limited to) financial concerns, community, family structure, social groups, and racism. Readers can analyze these short stories and compare to current students' experiences and comment on changes/similarity. It also aims to increase dialogue around these social issues. |
